# About

#### **Lumeon is a polymathic innovation lab working across multiple domains.**

Lumeon designs, incubates, and cultivates projects across food systems, water and environment, systems design and coordination, community and wellbeing, and creative technology. Lumeon operates as an open R\&D network organized into labs, projects, frameworks, and commons.

Lumeon Labs is the open expression of everything Lumeon does. Each lab anchors to one or more horizons within the 12 Horizons framework. Projects develop within and across labs. Frameworks emerge from sustained inquiry. Commons hold the shared resources that surface along the way.

## **Principles**

Five principles shape how Lumeon operates.

How things happen is part of what makes them valuable. Built through real engagement and lived experience.

Projects are designed with each other in mind. Cross-pollination is the rule, not the exception.

Inquiry draws from multiple disciplines. Food meets systems theory. Water meets sensory design. Coordination meets ecology.

Less, but better. Tools and frameworks compress complexity rather than amplify it.

Projects and frameworks evolve over time. Nothing is treated as final.

## **What we explore**

Lumeon explores water, food, health, coordination, community, learning, and creative technology. Some projects focus deeply within a single domain. Others sit at the intersections where the most interesting questions live.

Lumeon is based in Norway, with practitioners and partners active across Europe, the Americas, and beyond. The geographic center is Norway. The reach is global.
